Built from the ground up by Jeff and Deb Hansen, Iowa Select Farms has been producing high-quality pork for more than 20 years. Today, we are the largest pork producer in Iowa and the 8th largest in the U.S.
While our roots are firmly grounded in our founding location of Iowa Falls, Iowa, we have farms in nearly 700 locations in 46 different counties. Agriculture is one of Iowa’s leading economic generators, particularly in rural communities, and Iowa’s fertile, black soil is just one reason why the state leads the nation in swine production, and why we are the largest pork producer in the state. Most important, it’s our people — our work ethic, our family values and the way we care for and respect our animals and natural resources — that has made us who we are today.
