Clint Celebrates 25 Years With Iowa Select Farms
posted on Thursday, June 3, 2021
Congratulations to Clint, director of inner sanctum transportation, on keeping our pigs moving across Iowa for 25 years!
Originally starting out as a feed coordinator in 1996, Clint could have never imagined the changes and growth he has seen over the last 25 years.
“When I first started at Iowa Select Farms, we had less than 40 finishers,” said Clint. “I have seen us grow exponentially.”
“What I love most about Iowa Select Farms is that it is always pushing forward with new, innovative ideas and continues to be a leader in the industry,” Clint says of how the company continues to evolve and change. “From how we would keep track of all the feed rations by faxing between mills to the amount of trucks we have on the road. It’s really amazing.”
Clint has also grown with Iowa Select Farms. After working as a feed coordinator for a few years, he moved to the Eagle Grove truck wash office where he took on more transportation responsibilities. He landed back in Iowa Falls where he now oversees the responsibility of director of inner sanctum transportation.
Under that title, Clint oversees all of our CDL and wean drivers, truck mechanics, bio security monitors, contracted truck wash crews and long-term scheduling.
His favorite part of his job though is working with people. “I have a great team. They are very hard-working people who make it happen every day. My management pushes me to improve the company and be a better boss.”
This Hawkeye fan, father of three and grandpa of one enjoys spending time with his family, of course, but can also be found working on cars and motorcycles. He also loves traveling to Las Vegas and Arizona to visit his oldest daughter and grandson.
Thank you, Clint, for your dedication to Iowa Select Farms and congratulations on 25 years of excellent work!
