Congratulations to Abby Hockemeyer on your Iowa Select Farms Future Ag Leader Scholarship!

Abby is a graduate of Grundy Center High school and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Studies at Iowa State University in Ames.

“Growing up on a farm, I have always had interests in multiple aspects of the family farm, including livestock production, row-crop production, and the management side of the farm. I couldn’t see myself in any other career besides in the agriculture industry,” Abby explains. She goes on to share that “being involved in the agriculture industry has thought me hard work and many core values.”

Abby is the daughter of Bradley & Kathryn Hockemeyer of Holland, Iowa.
