Congratulations to Katelyn Sander on your Iowa Select Farms Future Ag Leader Scholarship!
Katelyn is a graduate of the South Central Calhoun Community School District and is studying pre veterinarian at Iowa Central Community College.
“My mom is a teacher and I always enjoyed helping her in her classroom. Last year I was a sub teachers assistance and fell in love with it, so I decided to change my major from vet tech to early childhood development,” explained Katelyn. After graduation, she would like to become a preschool teacher.
Katelyn is the daughter of Dan Sander who is a sow supervisor at Iowa Select Farms. She shares that “Iowa Select Farms is very family-based. Every year there is a trip to Adventureland to spend time with family and also to meet other families that work for Iowa Select.”
