Demolishing Hunger in Denison

Throughout the 2020-2021 school year, eight schools in Denison will receive Power Snack deli ham and whole wheat bread coupon booklets. Along with delicious and easy recipe ideas, the Protein Power! coupon booklets include a $5 coupon for deli ham and $3 coupon for whole wheat bread--the resources children need to make twelve nutritious ham sandwiches. 

In total, the 2,000 Power Snack coupons + 400 Pork Sticks donated to Denison Community Schools + Zion Lutheran School will provide at-risk students with 24,000 meals. 

Power Snack coupons are typically distributed prior to extended weekends or holiday breaks when children go without critical breakfast, lunch and snack meal programs.
