Congratulations to Elizabeth on her Iowa Select Farms Future Ag Leader Scholarship!
Elizabeth is currently attending DMACC pursuing her degree in funeral services. This is a field that allows her to fulfill her passion of helping people. Her Grandfather, uncle, and mother (Jacque) all work in this family business. Elizabeth’s dad, Bob, is an animal caretaker at Roger North (G810) and Roger South (G811).
Agriculture has helped Elizabeth to realize her dreams and work to achieve them. Her many experiences showing and selling cattle have taught her the value of hard work and being active. Selling her cattle, with tears in her eyes, has allotted her funds to pay for college. Through volunteering, sports, and county service days, she had found great joy in helping others. She hopes to someday go back to Mount Ayr and work in the family funeral business.
