Final Stop for Power Snack Day Three

All blue today for our final stop of Power Snack Day 3! The Bobcats at Charter Oak-Ute Elementary and Middle School capped off the day on a great note.

How about that picture in front of a real bobcat with Principal Adam Eggelin--they sure do take their mascot seriously.

More importantly, the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation, in coordination with Iowa Select Farms, delivered 600 Power Snack coupon booklets and 200 pork sticks this afternoon to help end the fight of childhood hunger in Iowa.

"These coupons reassure the students who come to school hungry that there is a resource to help them," said Principal Eggelin. "Additionally, it gives them access to food that they otherwise would not be able to obtain."

While this is the end of Day 3, we have 7 more days of deliveries left and will be back on the road Wednesday.
