Hats Off to Ames Patriotic Council for a Great Veterans Day Program!

Hats off to the Ames Patriotic Council for the Veterans Day Program they held at the Ames City Auditorium. The Iowa State University Army ROTC presented the colors; the Heart of Iowa Senior Band played the National Anthem, followed by the Ames High School Concert Chorale singing the Battle Hymn of the Republic. The program featured Mayor Pro Tem Tim Garton, American Legion Family of Ames, IA Post 37 members and a keynote from Captain Duane Pitcher, U.S Navy (retired).

The team at Iowa Select Farms and the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation joined in the patriotic display of appreciation by outfitting these special Story County Veterans with our My Veteran Hero gifts.
