Haul Out Hunger Visits Shell Rock Food Pantry

Haul Out Hunger donated 72 pork loins to the Shell Rock Mobile Food Pantry. The loins donated will provide 1,296 protein-packed servings of pork for area individuals and families in-need. Helen Rostad, one of the pantries volunteers, met us in Clarksville to receive the loins. 

"As a mobile pantry we don't have the benefit of storage like a lot of other pantries do," she explained. "We rely on community support and this donation from Iowa Select Farms' will really make a difference in the lives of our clients." 

Thanks to Orly's Meat Locker in Clarksville for storing the loins. It takes everyone working together to Haul Out Hunger.
