Helping each other out in Diagonal

“Diagonal is a close knit small town, and we help each other out here,” said Diana Bolinger who organizes local efforts to help families in need. Diana, who teaches preschool and K-6 special education at Clearfield Schools, is also married to Virgil, a GDU manager for Iowa Select Farms.

“We support 130 families throughout our school system, and use the pork loins for church suppers, Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets for the families and also send them to families in surrounding communities,” said Diana. “We do the best we can to watch out for one another, and stretch out the pork loins as much as possible.” Thank you Diana for everything you do!
