What would a visit to the Iowa State Fair be without our annual shift at the Iowa Pork Tent? It’s definitely a highlight for our crew and this year didn’t disappoint!

Last night nearly 40 of our employees and a few family members volunteered their time to grill, prepare and serve delicious pork meals for thousands of fairgoers. In addition to chop dinners, pork burgers, bacon and the world-renowned pork chop on-a-stick, our crew served up plenty of smiles throughout the night.

Operated by the Iowa Pork Producers Association, the pork tent relies on over 900 producer volunteers from across the state, all in an effort to provide fairgoers with a state fair favorite.
Revenue from tent’s 11-day sales go towards critical areas of public policy, government relations and helping producers of all shapes and sizes thrive in Iowa.

Iowa producers care for nearly one-third of all of the hogs raised in the United States and agriculture drives the Iowa economy. We’re proud to support Iowa Pork and give back to the industry that has given us so much.
