Hearty breakfast casseroles, sizzling sausage and an all-around favorite—bacon—powers people's mornings with much-needed protein. When lunchtime comes around, the ham sandwiches is the nation’s most popular cold cut sandwich, not to mention the sheer joy just the idea of a BLT can bring to an Iowan with homegrown tomatoes.

Pork dominates the pizza-topping category, and across the US, families enjoy firing up the smokers and grills to prepare chops, ribs, pork burgers and pork loins. Here in Iowa, we indeed produce the most widely-eaten meat across the globe—pork.

On our farms, throughout our company, and up and down our entire food chain, our people are passionate about pork. Nutritionists and dieticians are no exception. Many pork cuts are recognized as lean proteins part of a heart-healthy diet, and millions of recipes rely on pork to add flavor and flair to dishes across the globe.

Special thanks to the Sow 32 team at Last Chance Sow Farm for once again showing our guests how much you care about the animals and what goes in to producing a safe and wholesome product.
