National Ag Day-Stop #2 Eagle Grove

Our next stop on our National Ag Day tour is Eagle Grove! On this National Ag Day, we are giving back to our communities that spend their lives supporting agriculture and feeding the world.

We are delivering 400 pounds of ground pork today to the community of Eagle Grove and the @Upper Wright County Upper Des Moines Opportunity (UDMO)!

Did you know that ground pork can be used in casseroles, spaghetti sauce, tacos, or one of our favorites- juicy pork burgers? So many ways to cook healthy ground pork!

Sara Treiber and Kristen Hall explained that, “So far this month, we are supporting 75 families in the Eagle Grove community. The great thing about ground pork is it goes a long way and can be made some many different ways!”

By the end of the day today, we will have delivered 4,280 pounds of ground pork across our Homegrown Iowa Communities!
