We recently launched a new recognition program, and we’re excited. Why? Because our people are the best, and we want to keep finding unique and special ways to say thanks and recognize the impact they make in producing high quality pork.
Our SelectPride™ Production Award will continue to celebrate production results and achievements. Farms compete within their production cohort—sow, GDU, multiplication nursery, multiplication GDUs and finishing supervisor regions. After the close of each quarter, farms are ranked according to production results and scores on biosecurity, safety, animal well-being and supervisor site assessments. Farms and finishing regions are both recognized quarterly, and the sow division includes a “most improved” farm.
SelectPride™ Partners are individuals within support departments--or in special case, an entire support department--who are nominated by any farm or member of the production team for their effort in helping drive continuous improvement and production performance.

Hitting years of service milestones is a big deal, which is why employees who achieve 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25-plus years will now receive a small gift and note of recognition during their anniversary milestone week, and we'll share the stories.
The SelectCare™ Excellence Award recognizes any individual who embodies and promotes the SelectCare values. Any employee can nominate any fellow employee or contractor who demonstrates excellence in one or more of the SelectCare pillars—people care, animal care, environmental care and community care. SelectCare Excellence awardees are recognized quarterly, with one recipient earning top acknowledgement as the overall annual winner.

Nomination forms for the SelectPride Partner Award and SelectCare Excellence Award can be found on the main page of Tools and are due on the last day of each quarter—March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31. Any employee or contractor can get more information by contacting [email protected].
