Power Snack 2022 Ends Day 2 at Southeast Valley High School

Our last stop of day 2 is at Southeast Valley High School in Gowrie, Iowa.

The school employees were excited to see us as we entered with our Power Snack bags full of coupons for deli ham and whole wheat bread. Each coupon booklet contains a coupon for $3 worth of whole wheat bread and $8 worth of deli ham. With the rise of costs at the grocery stores, many schools were excited to also see the increase in the ham coupon from $5 to $8.

Thanks to the faculty at Southeast Valley for all they do to support their student body and the families in our Homegrown Iowa community!

It was a great day, and a warm one for November 1st. Keep up with us tomorrow as we head out for day 3.
