“The PowerSnack program provides relief to families as they try to balance the grocery bill with all of their other financial obligations,” said Teresa Keninger, Principal at AGWSR Community School District. “It gives them a helping hand that is much needed at times.”
The Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation has a strong passion to giving back to the communities where our employees live and work. We believe all Iowans deserve access to quality protein, especially children and adolescents who are unable to provide for themselves.
Because of this, we are honored to bring a total of 600 PowerSnack coupons to AGWSR today, each containing $8 for a pound of deli ham, valued at $4,800, and $3 for a loaf of whole wheat bread, valued at $1,800.
We know parents and families work hard to provide the essential nutrients for their families and children to grow and develop, and the high cost of living we are facing right now is making this more and more difficult.
