Power Snack 2022 Shares at North Union CSD

“The Power Snack program will help families in need put food on the table,” shared Julie Runksmeier, Principal at North Union Warriors Community School District.

With the rising cost of living, it is more difficult now than ever to supply a healthy meal at home. Grocery carts may be getting emptier or filled with less nutrient dense food. The Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation believes everyone deserves healthy protein on their plates, and a barrier to these nutrients is something no one should have to face.

That is why we are so honored to share 600 of our Power Snack coupons at North Kossuth today. These coupons contain $8 of deli ham, valued at $4,800, and $3 for a loaf of whole wheat bread, valued at $1,800. We hope these coupons ease the burden many families face at the grocery store to supply a pantry full of nutritious snacks and meals.
