Power Snack 2022 Stops at Fairview Park Elementary

“The students and staff at Fairview Park Elementary are so appreciate of the Power Snack program and what the Foundation does for our kids,” shared Hayley English, secretary at Fairview Park Elementary in Spencer Community Schools. “You would be surprised at the happiness on many of our students’ faces about having food when they receive the coupons.”
Nothing makes our hearts warmer than knowing the coupons are bringing that same warmth to many students and families.
“We feel very fortunate to be on the receiving end of this program,” said Alex Olson, Principal at Fairview Park Elementary. “It really does make a difference and goes a long way.”
The Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation understands how hard families throughout Iowa work to provide nutrition for their children. However, the economy does not always make this an easy task. Our Power Snack coupons contain coupons for $8 worth of deli ham and $3 for a loaf of whole wheat bread. Fairview Park Elementary received 600 of these coupons today to be distributed throughout their student body.
“Thank you again from all of us at Fairview Park for stepping up and helping take care of our students,” added Hayley English.
Our many thanks go to the school faculty and parents in our Homegrown Iowa communities. We appreciate all they do to provide a comfortable environment for children, and we hope the Power Snack coupons and pork snack sticks enhance that feeling.
