Power Snack Visits the Falcons of Aplington-Parkersburg

"I can confidently say our families really appreciate the Power Snack coupons," said Rachael Klooster, Counselor at Aplington Parkersburg Community School District 3-8 building. "Giving our students the ingredients to make healthy meals is a wonderful thing."

Iowa Select Farms and the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation visited the falcons of Aplington and Parkersburg to deliver 400 Power Snack coupons and 200 pork snack sticks. With Thanksgiving break quickly approaching, we are working to ensure students in our communities have the resources to make meals over long school breaks.

An additional resource to both Aplington and Parkersburg are our Little Free Pantries. There is one located at the 3-8 building in Parkersburg and at the Middle School in Aplington.
