Sawyer Earns Future Ag Leader Scholarship

Congratulations to Sawyer on his Iowa Select Farms Future Ag Leader Scholarship!

Sawyer is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Iowa State University. “Agriculture has been my inspiration for my future,” states Sawyer. “Working on farms all of my life has inspired me to become mechanical engineer; with this degree I hope to work on and design new agricultural equipment for tomorrow’s farmers.”

Someday Sawyer would like to work at smaller company to be hands on with the actual manufacturing development. He enjoys being active and working hard. These are characteristics that have been formed through his agriculture experiences and Sawyer would like to continue to make a difference in a field that has been a large part of his life.

Sawyer is the son of Shawn and Amy. Shawn is a GDU Breeding Department Head at Mott.
