Scholarship Winner Spotlight-Nick

“My experiences on my family’s farm have taught me hard work and commitment,” said Nick Feldpausch, an Iowa Select Farms Future Ag Leaders Scholarship recipient. “I’ve learned a lot working alongside my father and grandfather, and I am grateful my upbringing has led me down a path to pursue agriculture as a lifelong career.”

Nick is studying agribusiness at Des Moines Area Community College. When he graduates, he’d like to become a supervisor or production manager in the swine industry.

“Working on the farm has been my greatest passion,” said Nick.

Nick’s passion and work ethic didn’t stop at the farm gate. During high school, his team voted him as exhibiting the most sportsmanship—something he was humbled to be recognized for by his peers.

Nick is the son of Brian and Jen of Beaman, Iowa. His parents are contracted site managers for Iowa Select Farms.
