"Investing in training programs is an investment in our people and our pigs," said Cassandra Jass, DVM and Director of Biosecurity and Production Well-Being Compliance. "Training and certification programs are essential for building a confident workforce equipped with the knowledge and tools to provide top-notch pig care 24/7/365 and champion our Bruno-level biosecurity practices."
Thank you to our PWB and Biosecurity Compliance team and production leaders for planning, organizing, and facilitating 20 SwineSight sessions for our 1,500 employees and contracted site managers.

These regional trainings offered Pork Quality Assurance (PQA) recertification through six interactive stations which focused on various topics including pig care, daily observations, nutrition, health, food safety, animal handling and biosecurity. Each station featured props and real life scenarios to help educate and refresh caretakers on critical and routine practices where they have direct and daily impact on pigs at Iowa Select Farms.
Thank you to our employees and contractors for being "all in" and executing top notch pig care 24/7/365!
