Veteran Spotlight on Caleb Rapp

Thank you and congratulations to Caleb Rapp for earning the SelectCare Excellence Award for his service to our country. Caleb joins nearly 30 employees and contractor Veterans who are recognized with one of our highest honors.

Caleb, a part-time caretaker at Sow 117, enlisted in the US Marine Corp after high school. “I wanted to do it because it’s honorable and the right thing to do for our country.”
He completed Marine Boot Camp in San Diego and specialist training at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri.

He served four years, three of which he was stationed in Hawaii. During his time, he served as a heavy equipment operator loading trucks, planes and helicopters.

Caleb says serving in the Marine Corp taught him a lot, and he appreciated the unique opportunity to travel and work with people from across the globe.

Caleb, thank you for protecting our nation’s freedoms!

Happy Retirement to Manny Batista

Manny Batista has been a Breeding Specialist with Iowa Select Farms since 2010. Reuben says Manny's attention to detail and expertise contributed significantly to the team.
