Katie, a veterinarian who also serves as our director of biosecurity, loves both the pigs and the people she works with. She leads biosecurity strategy, trains caretakers and creates educational materials. And that’s on top of her veterinary responsibilities.

“Pig farmers are hard-working and committed to their 24/7/365 jobs,” said Katie. “Two things make my job meaningful—the people I get to work with and our role in providing safe and nutritious pork to families. #WomenInAg
